Combining enthusiasm with an energetic speaking style, Laurie Tarter is a motivational and inspirational facilitator specializing in goal setting strategies, lessons on the importance of PMA (positive mental attitude) and character education. With more than 20 years of business experience in sales, marketing, customer service, training, educational instruction and the talent industry, she creates a dynamic spark of audience participation wherever she speaks.

Currently, Laurie is an instructor with a non-profit mentoring organization called Winning Futures. The program helps to guide young people through goal setting strategy seminars that concentrate on building five year planning skills, self-reliance and personal responsibility.

Audiences describe Laurie's presentations as exuberant, creative, motivational, and inspirational. Her unique combination of business background and education, along with her theatrical experience, help make her programs inviting and educational for all ages. Laurie’s positive style helps audiences learn new skills for development in their professional and personal lives.

Laurie is married 25 years to Mike and they have two grown children, Ryan and Melissa. She credits her passion for giving back to the community to her parents.

Teaching Philosophy: “My teaching philosophy is simple…believe in yourself! I believe that everyone has a unique quality within him or her. My goal through teaching is to inspire students and adults to tap into their uniqueness to reach their personal successes in life.
